Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 3 - 3, fighting out of Tokyo, Woohun Do! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Craig Adamson! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Do is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Adamson. Adamson clinches. Adamson tries to land knees in the clinch but Do avoids the damage to the body. Do is trying to break the clinch but Adamson is controlling him. Adamson wants to stall.
Do scores with an uppercut up the middle. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Do. Adamson prevents a takedown attempt there.

Adamson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Adamson tries to break the clinch but Do is controlling the position. Adamson tries to land knees in the clinch but Do avoids the damage to the body. Do gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Adamson regains guard.
Adamson isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Do stacks Adamson on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Do! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Do tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Adamson is looking for a sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Do working the body and head with strikes. Adamson tries to bench press Do off him but Do keeps the position. Adamson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Do off and has taken his back! Do defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Adamson's arms. Adamson is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Do is defending well though. Adamson let's go of the attempt for now. Do is trying to escape under a series of strikes and manages to escape from Adamson 's hooks. Do blocking the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adamson looking to ground and pound but Do is blocking nicely. Adamson lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Do manages to regain half guard whilst avoiding the strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Adamson looks to land a strike but Do avoids it nicely and regains full guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Adamson throwing strikes but missing. Do avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Adamson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Adamson looking to sit in guard and control but Do gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Do connects with a couple of short punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Do lands a couple of digs. Do advances to half guard. Do winds up and cracks Adamson with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Do seems to be working for a kimura but Adamson defends the submission attempt. Adamson is trying to get back to full guard. Adamson looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Adamson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Adamson wants to stand back up but Do manages to pass into side control.
Adamson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Do wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Do landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Adamson struggling a bit here. Do thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Adamson is looking for a sweep. Do in side control lands a decent elbow. Do working away. Do is trying to get an arm triangle but Adamson is defending well. Do landing strikes. Adamson is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Do has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Do landing strikes.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Adamson tries to buck Do off but Do is having none of it. Do looks up at the clock and then as Adamson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Do smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

You can see the frustration on Adamson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Do working the head with strikes. Do sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Adamson is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Do landing strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Do wants to control but Adamson is keeping him busy. Do in side control lands a decent elbow.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Do lands some shots froms side control. Adamson misses with an elbow from the bottom. Do tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Adamson is trying to improve his position. Do looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Adamson striking from the bottom but nothing landed.

That's seven minutes gone in the round. Do connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Adamson some visible discomfort.
Adamson is looking to reverse the position. Do lands some shots froms side control. Do is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Adamson has escaped the position, nice work there. Adamson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Do wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Adamson is trying to get back to his feet. Do tries to move into full mount but can't pass Adamson's legs. Do wants to control but Adamson is keeping him busy. Adamson seems a little lost for a moment, as Do dominates the positioning. Do thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Adamson tries to buck Do off but Do is having none of it. Adamson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Do trying to control the position but Adamson is working away. Do works to advance to full mount. Adamson defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Do punishing his opponent with strikes. Do landing strikes from the mount and Adamson is in trouble!
Adamson is rocked! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Do cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Adamson is still in real trouble! Can Do finish him? Do postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Adamson badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Do around the waist but Do pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Do is the winner by TKO! Do jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 9:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Woohun Do! Woohun Do spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
