The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chonin throws a series of punches but Ali moves out of range.
Chonin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Chonin misses with a straight left.

Ali darts in and clinches Chonin up against the cage.

Ali has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Chonin is trying to keep an underhook but Ali manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Ali tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ali is keen to just control but Chonin is a slippery customer.

Chonin looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Ali takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Ali is looking to take a break and control but Chonin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Ali stands up from half guard.
Nice combo by Chonin! Oh, that's hurt him - Ali falls to the canvas and Chonin follows him into side control.

It looks like Muhammed Ali has been cut.
Ali tries to improve position but can't.
Ali tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Chonin trying to control the action but Ali is working from the bottom.
Ali is trying to get back to half guard.

Chonin has hold of Ali's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Ali tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Chonin cranks the arm and Ali screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Ali, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
