The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bin Laden throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Bin Laden avoids the head kick by Rodrigues.
Rodrigues takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

It looks like Severino Rodrigues has been cut.

Rodrigues slips a jab and a cross from Bin Laden.
Bin Laden connects with an inside leg kick.
Bin Laden lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bin Laden.

Bin Laden throws a right hand that Rodrigues ducks under and follows up with a left that Rodrigues also avoids with ease.
Bin Laden lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Rodrigues misses with a straight right.
Bin Laden fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bin Laden checks a leg kick.
Bin Laden looks to land a combination but Rodrigues avoids it well.
Bin Laden throws a sloppy head kick and Rodrigues moves out of range easily.
Bin Laden takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Rodrigues throws a head kick that misses.

Severino Rodrigues seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rodrigues plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Rodrigues pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Rodrigues lands with a kick to the temple. Bin Laden shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Rodrigues walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

That has opened up Severino Rodrigues's cut even more.

Bin Laden lands a big head kick that sends Rodrigues tumbling to the mat! Bin Laden takes a step backwards and waves Rodrigues back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Bin Laden walks into a stiff left hand from Rodrigues.
Rodrigues throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Bin Laden makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Rodrigues looks winded!
Bin Laden connects with a body shot that sends Rodrigues's belly button to the back.
Bin Laden connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rodrigues momentarily.

The cut above Severino Rodrigues's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Bin Laden cracks Rodrigues with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Rodrigues looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bin Laden finish him?

Rodrigues is rocked!

Severino Rodrigues's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Bin Laden finds Rodrigues's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Rodrigues flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Bin Laden lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Rodrigues will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Adolf Bin Laden!
