The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cenar looks for a takedown but Matsuo sprawls well.

Cenar bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Matsuo tries to bench press Cenar off him but Cenar keeps the position.

Cenar decides to stand up, so the ref orders Matsuo to his feet.
Cenar fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Cenar circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cenar fails to land the takedown.
