Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zenek Bonebreaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rickson Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rickson Gracie is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Zenek Bonebreaker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rickson Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bonebreaker gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Gracie to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Bonebreaker pulls Gracie in to control the position.
Bonebreaker controls Gracie momentarily but Gracie frees himself.

Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Bonebreaker is trying to control the position but Gracie postures up.

Gracie drops back looking for a leg! Bonebreaker is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bonebreaker manages to kick Gracie off! Gracie jumps back into Bonebreaker's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bonebreaker has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Bonebreaker can't keep his opponent in guard - Gracie advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Gracie is looking for a kimura here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie is keen to just control but Bonebreaker is a slippery customer.
Bonebreaker is looking to improve his position.

Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bonebreaker is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold.

Gracie is working for a kimura but Bonebreaker is defending it quite comfortably.

Gracie looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Gracie is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Gracie looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Bonebreaker could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Bonebreaker tries to lock up and control but Gracie gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Gracie goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Bonebreaker is on top in guard.

Gracie pushes a forearm under Bonebreaker's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Bonebreaker is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Rickson Gracie!
