Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Timmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Darmody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Timmer might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to James Brown-Woman. James Darmody is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timmer throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Darmody shoots in for a double leg but Timmer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Timmer scores with a head kick. Darmody tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Timmer misses with the combination.
Darmody takes one to the chin there.
Timmer feints a jab promting Darmody to slip. Timmer then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Darmody slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Darmody closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Darmody tries to pass the half guard into mount. Timmer knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Timmer is in a horrible position here. Darmody smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
You get the feeling that Timmer really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Darmody wants to take Timmer's back here but Timmer is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Darmody jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Timmer manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Timmer seems a little lost for a moment, as Darmody dominates the positioning.
