Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pete Wentz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Wise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wentz comes to the cage accompanied by Dance, Dance. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pete Wentz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dennis Wise! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Wentz does it's job there. Wentz shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Wise throws a shot from downtown. Wentz moves away and avoids it. Wise throws out a loose jab but Wentz uses good head movement to avoid it. Dennis Wise seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wentz finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A slow jab from Wentz misses its intended target. Wentz feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Wise's calf. Wise connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Wise stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Wentz. Wentz scores with a leg kick.
Wise throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wentz avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Wentz missing with a left hand there. Wise was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wise throws a leg kick but Wentz sees it coming and moves out of range. Wentz closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Wentz wants to work for an arm triangle but Wise is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Wentz lands with a right hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wise throws a leg kick and Wise takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Wentz misses with a hook. Wise misses with a jab, cross combination.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Wise checks a leg kick. Wise throws out a leg kick but Wentz moves out of range and Wise only half commits. A slapping leg kick lands for Wise.
Wentz connects with a solid leg kick. Wentz thows a left - swing and a miss! Wise scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Wentz doesn't seem bothered though.

Wentz tries to land a front kick but Wise steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Wentz lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Wentz lunges at Wise with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Wise's hand. Wise moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Wise misses with a low kick. Wise on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wentz looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Wise rushes Wentz and presses him up against the cage. Wise lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Wentz misses with a body punch.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Wise lands a hook to the side of the head. Wise holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Wise lands a right hand that snaps the head of Wentz backwards. Wise with an attempt at a knee that misses.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wise tries to work over Wentz's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Wentz blocks an uppercut.

Wentz drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wise pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pete Wentz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wise lands with a good body shot. Wise misses with a low kick.
Wise misses with a right hand and Wentz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Wise throws a head kick that Wentz semi-blocks.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Wise connects with a good right hand that stumbles Wentz. Wentz circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Wentz takes a jab right on the kisser.

Dennis Wise showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Wise lands with a hook. Wentz tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Wentz tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Wise misses with a leg kick and Wentz counters with a left and a right that stings Wise. Good leg kick by Wentz there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Wentz shoots for a double leg takedown but Wise sprawls well. He's pushed Wentz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Wise throws a low kick, looking for Wentz's leg but Wentz calmly moves out of range. Wise misses with a looping right. Wise looks to land a right hand but Wentz moved out of range. Wentz avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Wise misses with a wild body shot. Wise chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wentz can pounce on him.

Wise's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Wise fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Wentz has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Wise tries to clinch there but Wentz circles away.

Wentz cracks Wise with an open hand slap. Wentz throws a leg kick but Wise sees it coming and checks it nicely. Wise scores with the left hand. Wentz knows he should have avoided that one.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Wentz throws a big elbow that misses. Wentz missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wentz throws a leg kick that is checked and Wise counters by clinching up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wentz is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Wentz tries to pull guard but Wise holds him up against the cage and eventually Wentz drops back down to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Dennis Wise. I think Wise has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
