Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mayuri Tatsuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronald Belford Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tatsuki comes to the cage accompanied by Norther - Released. The crowd seem to be enjoying Scott's choice of entrance music: Big Balls by AC/DC. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ronald Belford Scott! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Eddie Farnsworth and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scott misses with an uppercut. Tatsuki saw that one coming. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Scott!
A slapping leg kick lands for Tatsuki.
Scott scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Tatsuki connects with a solid leg kick. Scott misses with a series of wild punches.
Tatsuki scores with a jab. Tatsuki lands a nice leg kick that just misses Scott's sensitive parts. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tatsuki shoots in and gets a takedown into Scott's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Scott tries to land a sweep but no joy. Tatsuki is stalling in the full guard. Tatsuki looking to pass the guard. Scott avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Tatsuki won't allow Scott to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tatsuki trying to control the position from guard on top but Scott is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Tatsuki trying to control but Scott is working from the bottom. Tatsuki with a flurry of punches that miss. Tatsuki is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Scott wants to sweep here but Tatsuki controlling him for the moment. Tatsuki postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Tatsuki postures up and lands a big shot to Scott's brow. Tatsuki is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Tatsuki wants to pass the guard but Scott is keeping the position. Tatsuki prevents Scott from getting back to his feet. Tatsuki scoring with punches to the head and body. Tatsuki scoring with some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Scott preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Scott is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tatsuki wants to pass the guard but Scott is keeping the position. Scott really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tatsuki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Scott is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Tatsuki has had enough of the clinch but Scott keeps him there for the moment. Tatsuki is trying to break free. Scott throws a head punch that misses. Scott letting Tatsuki take a breather here. Tatsuki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Scott gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Tatsuki throws out a leg kick but Scott moves out of range and Tatsuki only half commits. Scott misses with a looping left. Tatsuki fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Scott is out of range. Tatsuki thuds his right hand into Scott's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Scott misses the jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tatsuki slips under a jab. A right-left combo lands from Tatsuki.
Scott is rocked! Tatsuki looks to land a right hand but Scott moved out of range. Scott is still on wobbly legs! Can Tatsuki finish him? Crack! A monster head kick from Tatsuki and Scott falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Tatsuki!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Mayuri Tatsuki! Mayuri Tatsuki retains his lightweight title! After the fight, Mayuri Tatsuki was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
