Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Regis King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King comes to the cage accompanied by Break ya neck. Jones is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hi my name is. Jon Jones struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 266.8lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Regis King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Jones! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by King.
Jones avoids a lazy jab quite easily. King keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Some wild striking there from King.
King lands the left hand. King bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jones's head.
It looks like Jon Jones has been cut. Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. King looks like he's trying to stand up.
King is breathing heavily. Jones moves into full mount! King won't be happy about that! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones with the ground and pound from mount. King blocking the ground and pound. Jones punching from mount but King doing a good job of avoiding damage. Jones wants to control the pace but King is squirming around nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but King manages to avoid the submission attempt. Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. King is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Jones asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones working the ground and pound. Jones is looking to take a break and control but King is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jones is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but King is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Jones swings around for an armbar but King sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Jones's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones pushes a forearm under King's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, King is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jon Jones! Jon Jones got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
