Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krzysztof Model (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krzysztof Model looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Krzysztof Model!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Parker!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker fails with a takedown attempt.

Model instigates a clinch.
Model leaning his opponent against the cage.
Parker tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Parker.
Model is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Parker to keep the fight standing.

Parker ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Parker no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Model drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Model jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Parker has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Model throwing strikes from guard but Parker blocks nicely.
Parker is adopting a defensive guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Joe Parker was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Parker clinches.
Model is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Model takes an elbow to the forehead.
Model fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Krzysztof Model. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Model is breathing heavily.

Parker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Parker drives through and clinches with Model against the cage.

Parker tries to pull guard but Model forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Parker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Parker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Model manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Parker tries to clinch but Model is having none of it.
Krzysztof Model seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Model gets tackled into the cage by Parker. Parker maintains the clinch.
Model misses with a short punch on the inside.
Parker changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Model fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Parker moves in looking to clinch but Model pushes him off.
Parker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Model manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Parker is defended easily by Model.
Model shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Parker defends it nicely.

and Model counters with a right hand to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Model tries to circle away but Parker has him pinned against the cage.
Parker utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Parker decides to pull guard.

Model decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Parker closes the distance and clinches up with Model, looking for a takedown. Parker pushes Model against the cage but Model circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Parker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Model tries to avoid it but Parker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Model to the ground. Model escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Krzysztof Model has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Parker.

Model has taken the fight to the clinch.
Parker tries to pull guard but Model forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Parker gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Model wants to break free but Parker has control.
Model tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Parker smiles and moves away.
Parker shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Model defends it nicely.
Parker scores with a crisp jab that stopped Model in his tracks.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Model leaves Parker with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Parker forces Model back against the cage and clinches.
Model wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Parker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Model shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Parker as he jumps to the side.

Model fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Parker, pushing him back against the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Parker manages to break the clinch.
Parker throws a sloppy head kick and Model moves out of range easily.
Parker takes one to the side of the head.

Parker has closed the distance and engaged Model in a clinch.
Parker is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Model tries for a takedown. No joy.
Model throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Parker blocks it with crossed arms.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Joe Parker will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Model tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Parker smiles and moves away.
Parker shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Model looks for the body kick but Parker saw that one coming.

Model clinches.
Parker lands an elbow inside.

Parker manages to pull guard.
Parker is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Model postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Parker moves into range and clinches up with Model.
Model is trying to force a seperation but Parker has the dominant position.

Parker decides to pull guard.

Parker has his foot on Model's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Model works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Parker pulls Model in to control the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Model's corner is telling him to maintain position.

We're going to have a standup here because Krzysztof Model wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Model fails to land the takedown.

Parker darts in and clinches Model up against the cage.
Parker utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Krzysztof Model has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Model wants to take the fight to the mat but Parker manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Joe Parker is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Parker lands a shoulder strike.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Joe Parker.
Well Parker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
