The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Betoni pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Decent striking displayed by Betoni there.
Betoni throws a right hand that McFarlen ducks under and follows up with a left that McFarlen also avoids with ease.
A head kick from McFarlen lands but Betoni takes it in his stride.
Betoni fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and McFarlen has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Betoni swats away the attempt to clinch by McFarlen.
Betoni connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Betoni throws a head kick but McFarlen moves out of range.
McFarlen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A head kick misses from McFarlen.
McFarlen lands a big uppercut and Betoni crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Betoni looks OK. McFarlen waves Betoni back to his feet!
It looks like Joni Betoni has been cut.
McFarlen cracks Betoni with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Betoni tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but McFarlen pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Betoni is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dimitry McFarlen!
