Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randal Plimpton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Farofa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlos Farofa is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randal Plimpton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carlos Farofa! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plimpton moves into the clinch successfully.
Farofa gets underhooks to prevent Plimpton's takedown attempt.
Plimpton drags the fight down to the ground.
Plimpton has Farofa pulled in close to control his posture. Farofa looking to sit in guard and control but Plimpton gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Farofa wants to sweep but no luck. Plimpton forces his way into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Plimpton takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Plimpton takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Farofa can do anything to dispel that myth. Plimpton seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Farofa for as long as he can get away with. Plimpton works his way into side control. Plimpton is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Farofa knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Plimpton in side control, just content to control the action for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Plimpton has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Farofa! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Plimpton controlling from mount. Farofa is in a horrible position here. Plimpton smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Plimpton controlling from the full mount. Plimpton with good strikes from the mount here! Plimpton controlling from the full mount. Plimpton looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Plimpton wants to control the pace but Farofa is squirming around nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Farofa taking shots to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Plimpton lands a big shot there that rocks Farofa but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Farofa looks winded! BOOM! Plimpton connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Plimpton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Plimpton lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Farofa hang on?
Farofa is rocked! Farofa squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Farofa is still in real trouble! Can Plimpton finish him? Plimpton has isolated one of Farofa's arms. Farofa looking to fight him off but Plimpton twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
