The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filho on the wrong end of a nice hook.
It looks like Pedro Filho has been cut.
Bless wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Filho has his takedown stuffed
and Bless counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Bless lands a left and a right that send Filho crashing to the mat, dazed. Bless thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Filho walks straight into a right hand from Bless - that's dropped him! Bless jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Filho from any more punishment! Filho complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
