And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

20 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vick Armstrong!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong has a takedown stuffed.
Lopez wants to clinch up but Armstrong keeps it at a distance.
Lopez manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Armstrong on his heels. He'll look to pass Armstrong's guard now, I'm sure.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Lopez trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Lopez stands up over Armstrong, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Armstrong wants to get back to his feet but Lopez is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Lopez is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Armstrong wants to stand up but Lopez is controlling him.
Lopez postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Lopez won't allow Armstrong to get back to his feet.

Lopez postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Armstrong covers up, he's hurt! Lopez keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Lopez and the ref steps in to end the fight! Lopez can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
