Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Santz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jesse Hall has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jesse Hall seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose Santz!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santz dips to his left and cracks Hall with an uppercut!

Hall gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Hall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Santz with a lazy takedown attempt
and Hall connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Santz misses with a body shot
and Hall counters with an inside leg kick.
Santz misses with the combination.
Santz throws an off balance right hand
and Hall counters with a one-two to the body.
Santz slips a jab and a cross from Hall.
Santz with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Santz swings for the body but Hall moves out of range.
Hall takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Hall keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hall connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Santz momentarily.
Hall misses with a jab, cross combination.

Santz tries to keep at a distance but Hall has taken the fight into the clinch.
Santz is trying to break the clinch but Hall has him pressed against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Hall breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hall swinging wildly here.
Santz swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Santz throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hall sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Good exchange - Santz coming out on top.
Hall lands a nice hook to Santz's body. Santz takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Santz throws a right and a left that both miss.
No joy there for Hall, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hall avoids the head kick by Santz.
Hall swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hall closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Hall throws a nice outside leg kick.
Hall misses with a two punch combination.
Hall misses with the combination.
Santz chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hall can pounce on him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hall drops his hands momentarily and Santz takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Hall is rocked!
Santz ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Hall's jaw. Hall's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Santz does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jose Santz!
A less than humble Jose Santz misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
