Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Toney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miles Harunodo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toney kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Wicked. Miles Harunodo will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Toney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Miles Harunodo! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Toney connects with a crisp jab.
It looks like Miles Harunodo has been cut. Toney looks for a takedown but Harunodo sprawls well. Toney gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Harunodo taking a breather. Toney misses with the head strike.
Harunodo is trying to break the clinch but Toney has him pressed against the cage. Harunodo breaks from the clinch.
Toney throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Harunodo motions for Toney to come forward. Harunodo throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Harunodo feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Toney's calf. Harunodo lands with a nice combination. Toney backs away looking to recover.
It looks like James Toney has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sloppy strikes from Toney. Those never looked like landing. Toney misses with a straight left. No joy there for Harunodo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Harunodo throws a low kick but Toney moves out of range easily. Harunodo wants to slow Toney down by chopping away at his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Toney misses with a combination
and Harunodo counters with a low kick, right behind Toney 's knee. Toney lands a jab to the nose. Toney shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Harunodo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Harunodo misses with a straight left. Harunodo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Harunodo connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Toney tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Harunodo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Harunodo misses with a few strikes there.
Toney checks a leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Harunodo misses with a two punch combination.

Toney fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Harunodo avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Toney. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Toney lands with a nice body punch. Harunodo walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Toney checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Toney swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Harunodo on the wrong end of a nice jab. Horrible takedown by Toney or perhaps it was just good defense by Harunodo which made him look bad. Harunodo drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Toney misses with a leg kick and Harunodo counters with a head kick that drops Toney to the mat! Toney scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! Harunodo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Toney tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Harunodo was well out of range. Poor timing from Toney.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Toney misses with a looping left. Harunodo scoring well with a low kick there.
An inside leg kick from Harunodo misses. Harunodo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Harunodo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Toney to score with a decent uppercut. Harunodo fails to land with a series of punches.
Toney misses with a body shot
and Harunodo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Harunodo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Toney is breathing heavily. Harunodo connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Toney's hands. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Toney tries for a takedown but Harunodo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Harunodo connects with a leg kick. Toney looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Both fighters circling a little - Harunodo finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Toney moves forwards but Harunodo connects with a nice, crisp jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Toney looks up at the clock. Bad move! Harunodo lands a right hand from hell, dropping Toney. Harunodo pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Miles Harunodo! Miles Harunodo bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
