With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Ferguson!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ishida shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ishida shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ferguson sprawls well. Ferguson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ishida gets slowly back to his feet.

Ishida closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Ishida is looking to advance position but Ferguson won't allow it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ishida shoots in looking for a takedown. Ferguson tries to sprawl out of it but Ishida keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ferguson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Ishida shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ferguson but Ferguson pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Ferguson holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Ishida tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Ishida will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Ishida feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ishida is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Ishida has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Ishida is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
