Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Kocklova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Stravinsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Stravinsky! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Igor Prikhodko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kocklova thows a body shot but no joy. Stravinsky lands with a hook. Kocklova tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Kocklova ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stravinsky moves away. Stravinsky connects with a body shot. Kocklova takes a swing at Stravinsky's ribcage but misses. Kocklova uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stravinsky.
The fighters circling - Kocklova throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Stravinsky misses with a straight right. Kocklova shoots in for a takedown but Stravinsky shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Kocklova tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stravinsky was well out of range. Poor timing from Kocklova. Stravinsky doesn't manage to clinch there - Kocklova circles away.

Kocklova keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Stravinsky's head. Kocklova postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kocklova content to stall in guard here. Kocklova has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kocklova keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Stravinsky's head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stravinsky utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Kocklova works over Stravinsky with some ground and pound from guard. Stravinsky is breathing heavily. Stravinsky being controlled here, momentarily. Kocklova postures up in Stravinsky's guard and throws a big left but Stravinsky blocks it.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Kocklova lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Kocklova is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Stravinsky taking some punishment here, with Kocklova in his half guard. He's pushed Kocklova's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Kocklova misses with a wild body shot. That's two minutes gone in the round. Kocklova thows a left - swing and a miss! Kocklova shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stravinsky sprawls well. Stravinsky wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kocklova gets slowly back to his feet. Kocklova looks to land a right hand but Stravinsky moved out of range. A punch combination from Stravinsky misses. Kocklova bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Kocklova misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
