Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Amando Bassi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Higginson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Amando Bassi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Luke Higginson! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bassi throws a head kick that misses. Higginson throws out a loose jab but Bassi uses good head movement to avoid it. Bassi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Higginson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bassi avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Bassi throws a head kick that misses. Bassi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Higginson slips under a jab. A punch lands to the side of Bassi 's head but he takes it in his stride. Higginson looks to land a body kick but Bassi moved away. Higginson is looking to chop away at Bassi's legs. Bassi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bassi throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Higginson blocks a head kick by Bassi.
Higginson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Higginson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bassi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Higginson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Bassi throws a right hand that misses
and Bassi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Bassi avoids the body shot from Higginson.
Higginson gets in close and instigates a clinch. A short body shot lands from Higginson as the two fighters clinch.
Higginson blocks an elbow strike from Bassi.
Higginson has Bassi pressed against the cage.
Higginson manages to break the clinch.
Bassi clinches up with Higginson and pushes him back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Higginson stalling.
Bassi lands a good knee to the midsection. Higginson won't want to take too many of those. Higginson drags the fight down to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Higginson looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Bassi is defending well. Higginson quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Bassi has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Higginson celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Luke Higginson!
