Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Godluck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Pearce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, David Godluck! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Fred Pearce! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pearce looks for a takedown but Godluck sprawls well. Pearce shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Godluck pinned against the cage. Godluck gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Pearce throws a low kick but it's checked well by Godluck. Godluck swats away the attempt to clinch by Pearce. Godluck shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pearce as he jumps to the side. Godluck shoots and misses so Pearce counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Pearce wants to stand but Godluck has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Pearce stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Godluck swivels though and keeps the full guard. Godluck is looking to stand up but Pearce isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pearce sitting in guard here, content to control. Godluck is looking to stand up but Pearce isn't so interested in that idea. Pearce wants to control from the top but Godluck keeps moving.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Fred Pearce hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Pearce scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Godluck is breathing heavily. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Pearce tries to move to mount but Godluck blocks the move with his legs. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Godluck is trying to buck Pearce off. Godluck managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Pearce.
Pearce is looking to take a break and control but Godluck is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Godluck wants to get back to his feet but Pearce drags him back down. Godluck is not in a great position here, taking some shots. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pearce content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Godluck knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pearce on the ground. Pearce tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pearce has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Pearce is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Godluck has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pearce remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Godluck is pushing Pearce's head away, looking to escape. Pearce manages to hold on to the position though. Godluck is not in a great position here, taking some shots. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Godluck is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Pearce decides to stand up, so the ref orders Godluck to his feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pearce. David Godluck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fred Pearce. Pearce throws the kick towards the body but Godluck avoids it. Godluck stuffs the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Godluck lands with a nice combination. Pearce backs away looking to recover. Godluck swats away the attempt to clinch by Pearce. Godluck shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pearce napping and manages to drive through into side control! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Godluck is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pearce is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Pearce is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Godluck's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Pearce has his hands clasped together around Godluck's back. He's all about the action. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pearce makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fred Pearce dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Pearce throws a push kick but Godluck slaps the foot to one side. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pearce. Pearce throws a head kick but Godluck moves out of range.
Godluck leaves Pearce with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Godluck shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pearce as he avoids it easily. Godluck fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pearce wants to clinch but Godluck slips to the side and Godluck counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Pearce moves into the clinch successfully.
Pearce has had enough of the clinch but Godluck keeps him there for the moment. Pearce misses with a hook from the clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Godluck gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Godluck is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Pearce still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Pearce has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Godluck is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Godluck is letting Pearce control him for a moment. Fred Pearce has got the better of the ground game so far. Godluck is pushing Pearce's head away, looking to escape. Pearce manages to hold on to the position though. Pearce decides to stand back up. Pearce steps back and let's Godluck get back to his feet. Pearce shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Godluck manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Pearce wants to pass the guard but Godluck is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pearce won't allow Godluck to get back to his feet. Pearce looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pearce trying to control but Godluck is working from the bottom. Godluck will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Godluck is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Fred Pearce. Pearce blocks a head kick by Godluck.
Godluck fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pearce shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Pearce pushes down on Godluck's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Godluck is trying to stand.
Godluck scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Pearce manages to mount him!
Godluck is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Pearce controlling the position easily from mount. Pearce is landing with some decent strikes but Godluck is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Pearce connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Pearce with the ground and pound from mount. Godluck defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Pearce. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pearce postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Godluck looks a forlorn figure.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pearce landing strikes from the mount and Godluck is in trouble!
Godluck is rocked! Pearce controlling his opponent. You get the feeling that Godluck really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Pearce scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Godluck?
Oh Godluck is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Pearce lands a big elbow. Pearce cracks Godluck with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fred Pearce!
