Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Derek Mufflin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy McNulty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McNulty has chosen Enter Sandman by Metallica as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNulty swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mufflin moves out of range as McNulty throws a body kick.
Mufflin slips a jab from McNulty .
Mufflin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
McNulty thumps Mufflin with a low kick.
McNulty scoring well with a low kick there.
McNulty lands a really nice looking cross but Mufflin seems unphased.
McNulty swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mufflin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McNulty as he avoids it easily.
A chopping leg kick lands by McNulty .
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A slapping body kick lands there for McNulty .
Mufflin moves out of range of the body kick.
Mufflin shoots in and drives through. McNulty sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Derek Mufflin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mufflin blocks a low kick nicely.
McNulty cracks the inside of Mufflin's front leg.

McNulty drops Mufflin with a nice combination! McNulty dives into Mufflin's guard, looking to finish!

McNulty postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

McNulty postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Mufflin covers up, he's hurt! McNulty keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from McNulty and the ref steps in to end the fight! McNulty can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
