Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julio Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonidas Mavroeidis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ward kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is don't look back in anger. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mavroeidis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ward pinned against the cage. Ward gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mavroeidis keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mavroeidis looks for a takedown but Ward sprawls well.

Ward pushes Mavroeidis away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Mavroeidis gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Mavroeidis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ward does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
