Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doomsday Drost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takeshi Kovacks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drost comes to the cage accompanied by Kilpi - Sielut Iskee Tulta. Doomsday Drost has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Doomsday Drost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Takeshi Kovacks!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovacks lands a slapping body shot.
Drost avoids the body shot from Kovacks.
Kovacks lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Kovacks avoids the body shot from Drost.

Drost shoots in and gets a takedown into Kovacks's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Drost postures up in Kovacks's guard and throws a big left but Kovacks blocks it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Drost got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kovacks has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Drost has managed to get both his arms back between Kovacks's legs - danger averted.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kovacks is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Kovacks is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Drost arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Kovacks's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Doomsday Drost!
