Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Dingo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khan has chosen Eye Of the tiger as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matt Dingo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Danny Khan!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dingo swinging wilding here.
Dingo's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Dingo duly obliges.


Khan is rocked!


It looks like Danny Khan has been cut.
Dingo tries to clinch up.

Dingo clinches up with Khan and pushes him back against the cage.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Khan just misses with a elbow thrown towards Dingo's brow.

Horrible takedown by Khan or perhaps it was just good defense by Dingo which made him look bad.

Dingo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Dingo has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Dingo pushes Khan off and gets back to his feet.

Khan decides to stand back up. Khan steps back and let's Dingo get back to his feet.

Dingo throws a right and a left that Khan avoids nicely.
Dingo swats away the attempt to clinch by Khan.
Khan looks for a takedown but Dingo sprawls well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Khan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Khan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dingo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dingo tries to improve position but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dingo takes a swing at Khan's ribcage but misses.
Dingo lands a jab to the head.
Dingo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Khan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Khan shoots for a double leg takedown but Dingo sprawls well. He's pushed Khan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dingo lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Khan throws a front kick that sends Dingo stumbling back into the cage.
Dingo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Khan.
Some wild striking there from Dingo.
A right-left combo lands from Dingo.
Dingo swinging wilding here.
Dingo scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Khan shoots for a takedown but Dingo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Khan counters by moving into the clinch.
Khan jumps guard but Dingo stands there with Khan around his waist. Khan gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Khan shoots in looking for a takedown. Dingo tries to sprawl out of it but Khan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dingo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dingo tries to bum rush Khan with a series of wild strikes but Khan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Khan works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Dingo doesn't manage to clinch there - Khan circles away.
Khan misses with a takedown attempt - Dingo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Khan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dingo to the mat! Dingo manages to get full guard.

Khan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Khan drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dingo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dingo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dingo!

That was a close second round but I would say that Matt Dingo will probably get the nod.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dingo holds on and takes a little breather.

Dingo looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Khan is defending well. Dingo quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Khan has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Dingo celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
