Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yin Yang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cesar Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez fails with an attempt to clinch.
Yang is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Sanchez closes the distance and pushes Yang back into the cage. Yang being controlled against the cage. Sanchez jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Yang walks away with a smile on his face. Sanchez gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Sanchez throws a head kick that misses and Yang counters with a stiff right hand. Sanchez shoots in and drives through. Yang sprawls well. Sanchez misses with a takedown and Yang counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Yin Yang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cesar Sanchez. Sanchez is trying to push Yang away but Yang has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yang can't get the takedown.

Yang drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sanchez pulls guard effortlessly. Sanchez keeping full guard, as Yang tries to pass. Sanchez looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Yang seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Sanchez is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yang controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Yin Yang wasn't doing enough on the ground. Yang moves in looking to clinch but Sanchez pushes him off. No luck with that takedown attempt from Sanchez. Yang has Sanchez up against the cage in a clinch.
Sanchez is trying to break the clinch but Yang has him pressed against the cage. Sanchez misses with a knee to the head. Yang gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Cesar Sanchez has been cut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez is trying to pull guard but Yang has him pressed against the cage. Sanchez changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Yang fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Yang darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Sanchez wants to control but Yang is keeping busy and won't allow it. Yang keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Sanchez should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Yang is thwarting Sanchez's attempts to control the position. Yang looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Yin Yang just wasn't active enough. Sanchez looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Sanchez looks winded! Sanchez decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sanchez misses with a takedown attempt and Yang counters with a nice body kick.
Sanchez fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sanchez tries to keep at a distance but Yang has taken the fight into the clinch. Yang digs a right hand into Sanchez's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Sanchez's gas tank. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Yin Yang will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Cesar Sanchez's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Yang closes the distance and clinches. Sanchez wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Yang's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Yang gets in close and instigates a clinch. Sanchez tries to score a body lock takedown but Yang shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Sanchez tries to circle away but Yang has him pinned against the cage. Yang lands a left hand.
Sanchez pulls Yang into guard.
Yang is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yang works a leg free and moves into half guard. Sanchez is trying to control but can't.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sanchez fails with the takedown and Yang counters with a stiff right hand. Sanchez is breathing heavily. Yang fails in his attempt to clinch. Sanchez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Yin Yang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cesar Sanchez.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanchez takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Yang closes the distance and pushes Sanchez back into the cage. Yang drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sanchez pulls his leg out and moves away.
Yang forces Sanchez back against the cage and clinches. Yang's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sanchez shoots for a takedown but Yang saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Sanchez throws a head kick that misses and Yang counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Sanchez's guard now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yang pushes down on Sanchez's leg and manages to get into half guard. Yang is figuring out what he wants to do next. Sanchez has hold of Yang's hands but Yang slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Yang trying to control the pace. Yang scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yang is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Sanchez is looking to control Yang's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sanchez avoid being mounted? Yang lands with a punch from half guard. Yang is thwarting Sanchez's attempts to control the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Yang moves into the clinch successfully.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sanchez fails to pull guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A bit of stalling here from Yang.

Yin Yang dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Cesar Sanchez's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Yang gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Sanchez jumps guard but Yang turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Yang being controlled against the cage. Sanchez has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Yang after a bit of a struggle. Sanchez wants a takedown but no success here.
Yin Yang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cesar Sanchez. Yang has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Sanchez clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Yang controls the action. Yang lands a shot to the body. Sanchez takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yang is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Yang has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Sanchez is trying to get back to full guard. Yang is figuring out what he wants to do next. Yang's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Yin Yang is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sanchez tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Cesar Sanchez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sanchez has Yang pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Yang manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
And that's the end of the fight! Yin Yang showed his dominance in that final round. Well Yang has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
