Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Niklas Nort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankestein Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nort comes to the cage accompanied by Riverside - Forgotten Land. Mir comes into a darkened arena with his song building. A Fifth of Beethoven by Walter Murphy!!! kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Frankestein Mir is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Niklas Nort!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frankestein Mir!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mir scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Nort doesn't seem bothered though.
Mir lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A right-left combo lands from Mir.
Mir closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Mir misses with a straight right.
Nort listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Mir scoring well with a low kick there.
Mir looks for the body kick but Nort saw that one coming.
Mir pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Mir is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Nort's half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Mir is stalling here. Nort is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Mir seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Nort has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Mir wants to sweep here but Nort controlling him for the moment.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nort really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Mir.

Nort has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Mir manages to reverse the position and now he's in Nort's guard. Nice work there by Mir.

Mir wants to pass the guard but Nort is keeping the position.
Nort will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Mir stands and throws Nort's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Mir goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Nort rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Mir's guard! Nice work there by Nort!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mir is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Nort is aware though and is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Mir might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Nort kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Nort tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Nort manages to capitalize on a mistake by Mir to take his back!
Mir can't escape the position.
Mir looking very determined here, making life difficult for Nort.
Mir tries to escape but Nort has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Nort keeps control of the position easily here as Mir tries to buck him off.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

I really don't envy Mir right now.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Nort controlling the position well here. Mir rolled but Nort kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Frankestein Mir showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



Nort gets caught flat footed, as Mir shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Mir wants to pass the guard but Nort is keeping the position.
Nort utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Nort is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mir accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Nort is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mir trying to hold on to Nort's head to control him but Nort postures up.
Mir is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Nort is staying active.
Mir is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Nort's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Nort's back!

Frankestein Mir is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Nort is looking to control Mir's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Nort avoid being mounted?

Mir is just content to waste time from the top position. Nort takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Mir controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Nort avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Nort is pulling down on Mir's head. It's preventing any offense from Mir, at least for the moment.
Mir seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Mir trying to control the position from guard on top but Nort is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Niklas Nort has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Frankestein Mir wasn't active enough on the ground.
Nort is looking to land body kicks.
Nort fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mir manages to avoid it.
Nort slips a straight right by Mir.
Mir throws a wild body kick that Nort sees coming a mile off.
Nort moves out of range of the leg kick from Mir.

And that's the end of the fight!
Frankestein Mir comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Mir has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
