The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mozgov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pope.
Mozgov moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Karl Pope has been cut.
Mozgov misses with a leg kick
and Pope counters by clinching up.
Pope pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mozgov misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pope fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mozgov.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mozgov works over Pope's head and body with a nice combination.

Mozgov throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mozgov fails to land with a series of punches.
Pope changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mozgov looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Pope tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Mozgov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pope on the ground.
