Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Clark Channell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Happy Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Channell takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Clark Channell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Henry fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Channell manages to avoid it.
Channell throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Henry on the side of the head.
Henry looks to land a left hand but Channell moved out of range nicely.
A slow jab from Henry misses its intended target.
Channell misses with a looping left.
Channell throws a big shot that misses.
Henry doesn't manage to clinch there - Channell circles away.

Henry moves into range and connects with a jab.
A decent looking cross lands there for Henry.
Henry digs a good hook to Channell's body.
Henry tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Channell paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Channell shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Henry's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Channell loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Channell postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Henry is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Channell, into his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Channell has his foot on Henry's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Henry works his way back into a safe position though.

Channell is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Channell is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Henry is aware though and is defending well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Channell is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Henry defends well.

Channell has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Henry can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Channell isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Henry stacks Channell on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Henry!

Henry postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Channell gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Channell manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Henry wants to get up but he can't break Channell's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Henry accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

A jab from Channell does it's job there.
Henry tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Channell manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Henry lands with a nice combination. Channell backs away looking to recover.
Henry moves in looking to clinch but Channell pushes him off.

Channell shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Henry is trying to defend but Channell finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Channell is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Channell is working for an americana but Henry has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Channell was thinking about the submission.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Channell goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Henry has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Channell but great work by Henry.

Channell is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Henry has his hands clasped together but Channell extends an breaks Henry's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Channell.
