Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hakuin Ekaku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen Hawking (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ekaku comes to the cage accompanied by IV. Hawking has chosen One Winged Angel by The Black Mages as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
33 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hakuin Ekaku!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
30 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Stephen Hawking!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ekaku swings for the body but Hawking moves out of range.
Ekaku misses with a wild body shot.
A telegraphed right hand from Ekaku misses the target.
Ekaku tests Hawking's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Ekaku keeps the fight on the outside.
Hawking checks a leg kick nicely.
Ekaku misses with a leg kick
and Hawking counters with a shoot takedown. Ekaku fights it but they end up in guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Hawking lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Ekaku is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hawking is controlling him.

Hawking working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ekaku's head.
Ekaku pulls Hawking in close to his closed guard and prevents Hawking from doing any damage or advancing position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hawking wants to pass the guard but Ekaku is keeping the position.
Hawking passes Ekaku's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Hawking throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Ekaku to regain full guard.

Hawking connects with a couple of short punches.
Hawking postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Hawking postures up in Ekaku's guard and throws a big left but Ekaku blocks it.
Ekaku pushes Hawking off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Hakuin Ekaku is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ekaku lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hawking's sensitive parts.

Hawking is pressing down on Ekaku's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ekaku is holding on for now.
Hawking has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Ekaku is trying to maintain the position but Hawking is very close to passing his half guard.
Ekaku regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Hawking.
Hawking stands and throws Ekaku's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hawking lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Hawking throwing strikes but Ekaku manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Hawking is looking to reverse the position.
Ekaku decides to take the fight back to the feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Stephen Hawking will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Hawking fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Hawking wants to free his trapped foot but Ekaku is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Hawking is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Ekaku is trying to escape back to his feet but Hawking uses the scramble to pass into side control.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Hawking passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ekaku!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ekaku tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Ekaku really wants to buck Hawking off and get back to his feet.
Hawking connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Ekaku's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Hawking lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Ekaku tries to hold on but Hawking pushes him away.
Hawking fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Hawking loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Ekaku scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Hawking land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Hawking stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stephen Hawking!
Stephen Hawking took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'I am the best lookin, smartest and baddest man on this planet !!! NO ONE CAN DEFEAT ME !!! '.
