Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Benny Caine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Wurds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benny Caine is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caine with a lazy takedown attempt
and Wurds counters with a nice double leg into side control. Caine won't be happy with that.
Wurds trying to control the position but Caine is working away.
Wurds looking to control but instead Caine has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Wurds controlling the action here.
Wurds is keen to just control but Caine is a slippery customer.
Caine avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Wurds.
Wurds working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Caine moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Caine might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Wurds is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wurds makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Caine is looking for a triangle but Wurds pushes his legs off easily.
Wurds is looking to pass into half guard but Caine pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Caine is in guard.
Caine could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Caine is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Wurds defends it well.
Caine is thwarting Wurds's attempts to control the position.

Caine is working for a submission of some sort.
Caine stops Wurds from getting back to his feet.
Caine seems to be working for a kimura but Wurds defends the submission attempt.
Caine is looking to advance position but Wurds won't allow it.
Wurds is controlling Caine's trapped leg to prevent Caine from advancing to side control.
Wurds really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Caine. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Caine is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Wurds sees it coming and defends easily.

Caine is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Wurds has managed to free his arm - good work.
Caine wants to free his trapped foot but Wurds is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Caine is working hard here to advance position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wurds wants to control but Caine is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Wurds tries to get to full guard but Caine has control of the leg.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Benny Caine dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Caine fails with the takedown.
Wurds closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Wurds with the ground and pound but Caine regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Caine gets full guard.
Benny Caine overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Wurds stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Caine swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Caine has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Wurds should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Caine has tightened it up now! Wurds should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
