The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogeira shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Braathen's guard.
Braathen trying to keep a closed guard but Nogeira is proving a slippery customer.

Nogeira pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Braathen thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Braathen swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Nogeira is now in Braathen's guard. A big mistake from Braathen there, giving up the dominant position!

That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Braathen! Submission of the night perhaps?
