The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seagull throws a leg kick but Kamiya checks it.
Seagull swings for the body but Kamiya moves out of range.
Kamiya connects with a crisp jab.
Seagull throws a low kick but Kamiya moves out of range easily.
Kamiya stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Seagull.
Seagull throws a nice outside leg kick.
Seagull ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kamiya moves away.

Kamiya tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Seagull was well out of range. Poor timing from Kamiya.

Kamiya sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Sevent Seagull seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kamiya stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Seagull swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kamiya tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Seagull was well out of range. Poor timing from Kamiya.

Thud! ouch! good body kick from Kamiya - that will leave a mark!
That kick from Seagull tenderised Kamiya's leg. Kamiya is trying to keep his angry face on.

Kamiya gets tackled into the cage by Seagull. Seagull maintains the clinch.
Seagull blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Kamiya tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Seagull just stands there and leans against the cage.

Kamiya misses with a short punch on the inside.

Kamiya jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Seagull walks away with a smile on his face. Kamiya gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Seagull fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kamiya manages to avoid it.
Kamiya uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Seagull.
Seagull misses with a few strikes there.
Kamiya throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Seagull will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Seagull uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kamiya.
Kamiya is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Kamiya throws a sloppy head kick and Seagull moves out of range easily.

Kamiya throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Seagull sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Kamiya lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kamiya shoots for a takedown but Seagull saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kota Kamiya. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Seagull has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Kamiya on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kamiya throws a shot from downtown. Seagull moves away and avoids it.
Kamiya walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Seagull checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Kamiya shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Seagull as he jumps to the side.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Seagull connects with a solid leg kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kamiya crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Seagull - the referee stops the clock and Kamiya gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Seagull. Kamiya manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sevent Seagull showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Kamiya's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Seagull is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kamiya has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Kamiya has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Seagull is not content to let Kamiya control the position.
Seagull trying his best to control but Kamiya has mounted him.
Kota Kamiya has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kamiya sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
