Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Itte decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Itte had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Pax is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Itte Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Pax's back instead.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Itte shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pax's guard.
Itte thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pax is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Itteis looking to pass into half guard but Pax pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Pax is in guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Itte is on top in guard.

Itte looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Pax is pressing down on Itte's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Itte drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Itte jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Itte advances to half guard.
Itte has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Pax defend it? Itte steps over the head and cranks it - Pax is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Itte!
