Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron Damon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hitmon Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damon's entrance music is Dies Irae. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damon throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lee sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Damon connects with a crisp jab.
Damon throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Lee tries a head kick but it misses.
Damon misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lee.
Damon misses the jab.
Damon throws a jab when Lee was well out of range.
Damon throws the left hand but Lee avoids the punch easily.
Damon misses with a hook. Lee ducked under it nicely.
Lee uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Damon.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lee walks into a stiff left hand from Damon.
Damon looks to throw the jab but Lee is out of range.
Some bone on bone action there as Lee checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Damon throws a leg kick but Lee moved away.
Damon throws out a loose jab but Lee uses good head movement to avoid it.
Damon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lee manages to avoid it.
Lee fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Damon to the ground. Lee is now in Damon's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Lee postures up.
Lee looking to sit in guard and control but Damon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Damon stops Lee from standing up.
Lee throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Damon wants to stand but Lee is controlling his posture from full guard.
Lee preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Damon with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Damon with a nice head shot there.
Lee is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Damon is aware though and is defending well.
Damon postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Damon lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Lee is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Damon throws a big right hand that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee keeping moving, preventing Damon from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lee wants to get back to his feet but Damon is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Damon with a flurry of punches that miss.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lee is trying to control the position but Damon postures up.
Damon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Lee utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ron Damon dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Damon throws a head kick that misses.
Lee slips under a jab from Damon.
Damon misses with a straight right.
Lee misses with a few strikes there.
Damon scores with a decent looking hook.
Lee thows a left - swing and a miss!
Damon throws a hook but Lee avoids it easily.
Damon scores with a jab to the body.
Damon takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Damon misses with a few strikes there.

Damon takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Lee scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Damon scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lee doesn't seem bothered though.

Lee tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Damon is able to avoid easily.

Damon on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Lee rushes Damon and presses him up against the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Damon wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lee has him pressed against the cage.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Damon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Ron Damon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hitmon Lee.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lee lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Hitmon Lee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Damon throws a series of punches but Lee moves out of range.
Damon lands with a nice body punch.

I would just about give that final round to Hitmon Lee.
I think Damon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Ron Damon rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
