Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Ferrat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jao Lai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lai tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Ferrat counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Lai throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Ferrat blocks it with crossed arms.

Ferrat stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Ferrat scores with a shoulder strike.
Lai pushes off an throws an elbow but Ferrat leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Lai tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Ferrat avoids it.
Ferrat creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Lai's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Lai drops to his knees and Ferrat pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Trevor Ferrat!
A very excited looking Trevor Ferrat rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
