Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grigoriy Rasputin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raffer Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rasputin comes to the cage accompanied by Kiss with a fist. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Grigoriy Rasputin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Raffer Steele!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele throws a low kick but Rasputin moves out of range easily.
Steele checks a low kick from Rasputin.
Steele throws a head kick that half lands.


It looks like Grigoriy Rasputin has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Steele throws a leg kick that misses.
Steele throws a solid leg kick but Rasputin takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Steele.
A chopping leg kick lands by Rasputin.
Rasputin scores with a jab. Steele acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Rasputin fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Steele to the ground. Rasputin is now in Steele's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Rasputin working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Rasputin wants to control from the top but Steele keeps moving.
Steele wants to get back to his feet but Rasputin is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Steele utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Rasputin is looking to work some ground and pound but Steele has wrist control.
Steele trying to keep a closed guard but Rasputin is proving a slippery customer.
Rasputin wants to pass the guard but Steele is keeping the position.
Steele trying to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Raffer Steele hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Rasputin blocks the body kick.
Raffer Steele is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Steele throws a push kick but Rasputin slaps the foot to one side.
Steele throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Rasputin.

Rasputin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rasputin is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Steele has managed to free his arm - good work.
Rasputin thows a huge punch but Steele dodges it nicely.
Steele has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rasputin is working away from the top position though.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rasputin thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Rasputin lands with a punch from half guard.

Rasputin is working for a kimura but Steele is defending it quite comfortably.
Steele is looking to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Rasputin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Steele doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rasputin.

Rasputin is looking for a kimura but Steele is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rasputin to get the leverage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Rasputin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Steele sees it coming and defends easily.

Rasputin is trying to work for a kimura but Steele is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Raffer Steele will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Grigoriy Rasputin's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Steele throws a nice outside leg kick.
Rasputin misses the shot to the body.
Rasputin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Steele misses with a body shot.
Rasputin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Steele scores with a kick to the midsection.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A solid leg kick lands there for Steele.
Steele misses with a low kick.
Crack! A monster head kick from Steele and Rasputin falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Steele!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Raffer Steele!
