Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Christian!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Templeton Peck!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Christian scores with a takedown into Peck's guard.
Christian trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Christian working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Christian with a flurry of punches that miss.
Peck tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Christian is working Peck over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Christian is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Christian stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Peck swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Christian has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Christian postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Peck manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Peck tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Christian tries to lock up and control but Peck gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Peck tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
Christian is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Christian tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Christian tries to hold on but Peck postures up.
Peck wants to get back to his feet but Christian is holding on tight.
Christian is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Peck looking to control but Christian is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Peck is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Christian is wriggling around trying to escape.
Peck wants to control the pace but Christian is squirming around nicely.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Templeton Peck wasn't active enough on the ground.

Peck misses with a hook. Christian ducked under it nicely.
Christian wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Peck connects with an inside leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Peck. That's going to slow Christian down.
Peck rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Christian moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Christian fails with a takedown attempt.
Christian shoots in looking for a takedown but Peck manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Christian's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Christian will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Christian tries to score a power double leg takedown but Peck sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Christian somewhat.
Peck throws a series of punches but Christian moves out of range.
Peck misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Christian.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Peck throws a right hand that misses
and Christian counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Peck jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Peck lands a really nice looking cross but Christian seems unphased.

Christian tries to score with a low kick but Peck moves his leg out of the way.
Christian shoots in for a takedown but Peck shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Peck throws a series of punches but Christian avoids them all with ease.
Peck dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Christian. That did some damage!

and Christian counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Peck thinking.
Peck connects with a body shot that sends Christian's belly button to the back.

Peck falls off balance throwing a combination
and Christian counters with a straight right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Christian throws a leg kick that is checked
and Peck counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Christian chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Peck can pounce on him.
Templeton Peck is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A looping hook to the body misses from Peck. Christian does a little dance to reset his feet.
Christian tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Christian throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Templeton Peck seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Peck lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Christian has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Christian and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Peck throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Christian counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Peck doesn't manage to clinch there - Christian circles away.
Peck will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Christian closes this distance looking for a takedown but Peck circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Christian. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Christian fails to land the takedown.
Peck fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Peck throws a one two combo.
Peck misses with an uppercut

and Christian counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Christian throws a strike but Peck rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Christian pushes Peck off and scrambles back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Christian misses with a wild body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Templeton Peck will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Christian lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Nice straight punches there by Peck. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Peck.
Peck throws a shot from downtown. Christian moves away and avoids it.
Christian looks for a takedown but Peck sprawls well.
Horrible takedown by Christian or perhaps it was just good defense by Peck which made him look bad.

Peck throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Christian.
Peck misses with the combination.
Peck thows a body shot but no joy.
Christian avoids the body shot from Peck.
Peck lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Peck.

Peck takes a swing at Christian's ribcage but misses.
Christian is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Peck lands with a straight right. Christian didn't see that one coming.
Christian shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Peck defends it nicely.

Christian looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Peck throws a punch but it's blocked by Christian.
Peck is pressed up against the cage. Christian has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Peck down to the mat. Peck avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
A lazy body kick from Peck
and Christian counters with a two punch combo.

And that's the end of the fight!
Templeton Peck comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Peck has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
