Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Honey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Honey kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cruising in Miami by Bass 305. Davis has chosen Franz Ferdinand - Ulysses as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis looks to land a combination but Honey avoids it well.
Antonio Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A lazy left from Honey finds it's target.
A nice combination there by Davis.
Davis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Honey clobbers Davis with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Honey misses with a wild combination.
Davis stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Davis dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Honey misses with a hook. Davis ducked under it nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Davis. Honey does a little dance to reset his feet.
Davis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Honey moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Honey tests Davis's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Davis lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Antonio Davis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Davis throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Honey moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Davis pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Davis takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Honey fails with a takedown attempt.
Honey swings for the body but Davis moves out of range.

Honey takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Davis moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Honey takes a jab right on the kisser.
Davis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Davis thuds a left hand into Honey's body.
Honey dodges the punch combination from Davis.
Davis lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Davis.

Davis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Honey circles away quickly and effectively.
Honey is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Davis.
Honey misses with an attempted mid kick.
Honey takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
The fighters circle momentarily. Davis darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Nice takedown defense from Davis. No joy for Honey on that attempt.

Honey is rocked!
Davis weaves into range and cracks Honey right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Honey goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Davis is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

After the fight, Antonio Davis was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
