Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doug Graves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Trainer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Graves might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Alvarez. Doug Graves has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Doug Graves! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ray Trainer! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trainer checks a leg kick nicely. Trainer throws a hook but Graves blocks it. Graves lands a nice leg kick that just misses Trainer's sensitive parts. Trainer ducks right into an uppercut from Graves. Graves is looking to land body kicks. No luck with that takedown attempt from Trainer. Graves looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Crunch! Graves slams his shin into Trainer's torso. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Graves throws a body punch but Trainer moves out of range. Graves shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Graves throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Graves lands a head kick!
Graves throws an overhand right that lands on Trainer's shoulder, as Trainer tries to avoid the shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trainer throws a shot from downtown. Graves moves away and avoids it. Trainer closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Trainer lands in his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Trainer preventing the sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Graves can't keep his opponent in guard - Trainer advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Trainer is keen to just control but Graves is a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trainer is looking for a kimura but Graves is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Trainer to get the leverage. Graves trying to hold on to Trainer's head to control him but Trainer postures up.
Trainer wants to take a breather but Graves is having none of it. Graves keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Trainer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Graves keeps working. Trainer is stalling here. Graves is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Trainer seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Graves has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. You can see the frustration on Trainer's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trainer is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Graves's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Trainer is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Graves pulls his head out easily. Trainer is positioning himself well to prevent Graves advancing to mount. Trainer tries to get to full guard but Graves has control of the leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Graves is trying to control the action in half guard but Trainer is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Graves prevents Trainer from improving his position. Trainer is looking to get back to full guard here but Graves has managed to pass to side control instead. Trainer is looking to regain half guard here but Graves keeps moving and retains side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Trainer is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Doug Graves will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Trainer throws a hook but Graves avoids it easily. Trainer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Graves manages to avoid it. Trainer misses with an uppercut
enabling Graves to counter with a crisp jab. Trainer pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Trainer tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Graves keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Graves throws a hook but Trainer avoids it easily. Graves loads up on a big right hand but Trainer slips the punch. Graves scores with a jab. Graves works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Trainer slips a straight right by Graves. Graves lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Trainer scores with a jab. Graves acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Graves moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
That's one minute gone in the round. Graves tries to clinch but Trainer is having none of it. Trainer rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Graves counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Trainer tries for a takedown but Graves manages to get underhooks.

Graves is looking to control Trainer's arms but Trainer gets an underhook and turns him. Now Graves has his back to the cage. Trainer is looking to take this one to the mat. Graves is pressed up against the cage. Trainer has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Graves down to the mat. Graves avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Doug Graves is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Trainer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Trainer sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Trainer on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Graves. Graves obviously looking to wear him down.
Trainer is breathing heavily. A cross from Graves lands. Trainer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Graves moves away. Doug Graves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Graves takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Graves tries to clinch there but Trainer circles away.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Trainer throws a right hand that misses
and Graves counters with a nice uppercut. Graves connects with an inside leg kick. Trainer takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Graves delivers a nice body kick. Graves lands a leg kick that knocks Trainer off balance momentarily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! An inside leg kick lands from Graves. Graves lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Trainer tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Graves lands a leg kick that knocks Trainer off balance momentarily. Graves lands a body shot.

Graves ducked under it nicely. A head kick misses from Graves. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Graves lunges at Trainer with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Trainer's hand. Graves fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Trainer on the side of the head.
Trainer is rocked! Graves tries to clinch but Trainer is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Doug Graves dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Trainer looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Trainer is still on wobbly legs! Can Graves finish him? Trainer throws an off balance right hand
and Graves counters with an inside leg kick. Graves slips under a jab from Trainer. Trainer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Graves circles away. Trainer on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Graves. Graves obviously looking to wear him down.
Graves lands a front kick. Graves connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Trainer out cold! This one is over in a flash!
