Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Guida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Connor comes to the cage accompanied by Ça vaut mieux que d'attraper la scarlatine by Ray Venture. The crowd seem to be enjoying Guida's choice of entrance music: Stupid Kid - Alkaline Trio. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guida takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Connor misses with a double jab
and Guida counters with an inside leg kick.
A cross from Connor lands.
Connor chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Guida can pounce on him.
Guida throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Guida walks into a straight right hand from Connor.
Connor throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Connor falls off balance throwing a combination
and Guida counters with a nice leg kick.
Guida will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Connor shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Guida's guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Connor ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Guida moves away.
Guida moves into range and connects with a jab.

That kick from Connor tenderised Guida's leg. Guida is trying to keep his angry face on.

Guida shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
