Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Damian Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Gunnarsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Michael Jackson's Thriller. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller fails with an attempt to clinch.
A left lands for Miller.
Miller throws out a loose jab but Gunnarsson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Miller fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Gunnarsson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Miller.
Gunnarsson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Miller.

Miller throws a combination that misses
and Gunnarsson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Miller enables Gunnarsson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Miller manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Miller is pulling down on Gunnarsson's head to control his posture.

Gunnarsson has his foot on Miller's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Miller works his way back into a safe position though.

Miller stalks Gunnarsson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gunnarsson's face. Gunnarsson staggers backwards, shaken.

Miller shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Gunnarsson is trying to defend but Miller finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Miller seems to be working for a kimura but Gunnarsson defends the submission attempt.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Miller accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Gunnarsson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Miller gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Miller avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Gunnarsson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Gunnarsson holds on and takes a little breather.
Miller has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gunnarsson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

That was a close round but I would say that Damian Miller will probably get the nod.

Miller looks to land a combination but Gunnarsson avoids it well.
Miller shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gunnarsson sprawls well. Gunnarsson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Miller gets slowly back to his feet.
Miller throws a lazy right hand but Gunnarsson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Miller moves in looking to clinch but Gunnarsson pushes him off.
Miller throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Miller uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gunnarsson.

Miller changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gunnarsson tries to avoid it but Miller manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gunnarsson to the ground. Gunnarsson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
