Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Kiedis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clifford Bridges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 12 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Kiedis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Clifford Bridges! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kiedis clinches up with Bridges and pushes him back against the cage. Bridges has Kiedis pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kiedis manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Kiedis has Bridges pressed against the cage, preventing Bridges from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Bridges misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Bridges is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Bridges pulls guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Kiedis stops Bridges from standing up. Kiedis trying to control the position from guard on top but Bridges is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bridges is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Kiedis dives into side control.
Bridges is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kiedis has just dragged him back down to the mat. Kiedis wants to control but Bridges is keeping him busy. Bridges throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
That's one minute gone in the round. Bridges closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kiedis did well to prevent Bridges getting side control. Kiedis is trying to get back to full guard. Kiedis manages to get to full guard.
Bridges is in close to Kiedis's body, working some short punches and elbows. Kiedis is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bridges defends well. Bridges lands a couple of decent looking shots. Kiedis avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kiedis throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kiedis trying to keep a closed guard but Bridges is proving a slippery customer.
Bridges working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Bridges avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kiedis is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Bridges loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Bridges drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bridges jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bridges throws a big elbow that misses. Bridges with a flurry of punches that miss. Kiedis utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bridges is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Kiedis not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kiedis is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bridges defends well. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kiedis is on top in guard.
Bridges wants to stand up but Kiedis is controlling him. Kiedis is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Bridges uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Kiedis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bridges but Bridges pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kiedis throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Kiedis lands a nice shot that snaps Bridges's head back.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bridges shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bridges was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Bridges goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kiedis has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bridges but great work by Kiedis. Bridges is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Kiedis is controlling him well. Kiedis is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bridges knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Bridges is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bridges is not content to let Kiedis control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Clifford Bridges will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Bridges shoots in looking for a takedown but Kiedis manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bridges's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Bridges has closed the distance and engaged Kiedis in a clinch.
Bridges is defending well against a takedown attempt. Bridges tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kiedis's elbow. Bridges tries to work over Kiedis's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Bridges tries to throw a body punch but Kiedis avoids it by throwing Bridges back against the cage. Bridges wants to break free but Kiedis has control.
Bridges ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bridges no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Bridges wants to stand but Kiedis is controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kiedis is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kiedis gets to his feet - Bridges follows without any prompting. Kiedis has Bridges up against the cage in a clinch.
Bridges misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Kiedis drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bridges gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Kiedis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bridges avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Kiedis moves into the clinch successfully.
Bridges gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Bridges scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Bridges is looking to work some ground and pound but Kiedis has wrist control. Bridges throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kiedis works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bridges with a flurry of punches that miss. This has been an exciting period of action! Bridges with a nice head shot there. Bridges must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bridges avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bridges content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Bridges working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Kiedis looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Bridges passes into half guard.
Bridges looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Kiedis is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bridges scores with a couple of nice shots. Bridges drops an elbow to the side of Kiedis's head. Kiedis looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Kiedis on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bridges works his foot free and advances to mount. Kiedis is trying to escape the mount.
Bridges goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Kiedis turns into him and now he's in Bridges's guard.
Bridges wants to stand up but Kiedis is controlling him. Bridges pushes Kiedis off and gets back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A nice leg kick lands there from Kiedis. Bridges keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bridges checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Kiedis connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bridges's hands. Kiedis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bridges's waist but Bridges gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kiedis off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anthony Kiedis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kiedis tries for a takedown but Bridges sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bridges shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kiedis sprawls well. Kiedis wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bridges gets slowly back to his feet. Kiedis bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bridges's head backwards. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bridges dives in and grabs Kiedis's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kiedis pushes down on Bridges's head and hops out. Kiedis shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bridges napping and manages to drive through into side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Clifford Bridges will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Bridges uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kiedis. Kiedis shoots in looking for a takedown. Bridges tries to sprawl out of it but Kiedis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bridges manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Bridges forces Kiedis back against the cage and clinches. Bridges pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kiedis fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anthony Kiedis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bridges gets a takedown into half guard. Kiedis keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Kiedis is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bridges scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kiedis has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bridges is working away from the top position though. Bridges thumps the canvas. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kiedis trying to hold on to Bridges's head to control him but Bridges postures up.
Nice strikes from Bridges there. Bridges is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Bridges is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kiedis defends it well. Bridges looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kiedis with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The fighters are battling for position here. Kiedis manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Kiedis is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Kiedis is rocked! Bridges makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Oh Kiedis is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Bridges gets to his feet and stands over Kiedis, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Kiedis felt that one! Bridges unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Kiedis from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Clifford Bridges! During a confident post fight interview, Clifford Bridges thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
