Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bo Slither (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evaristo Esteves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Esteves has chosen Dream Evil - Chasing The Dragon as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bo Slither! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Evaristo Esteves! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Esteves tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Esteves fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Slither blocks a head kick by Esteves.
Slither really is a fat lump. Slither scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Slither is working for a submission of some sort.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Slither trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Slither forces his way into half guard. Slither wants to work for an arm triangle but Esteves is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Slither looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Slither is working for an americana but Esteves has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Slither was thinking about the submission. Slither is breathing heavily.

Esteves keeping full guard, as Slither tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Esteves working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Slither doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Slither manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Slither tries to free his leg and advance position but Esteves is retaining full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slither is working hard here to advance position. Slither drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Esteves manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Slither has Esteves in his guard. Esteves preventing the sweep. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Esteves thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Slither might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Slither lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Esteves! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bo Slither will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Esteves throws a head kick that misses. A head kick misses from Esteves. Slither drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Slither goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Esteves has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Slither but great work by Esteves. Slither gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Slither makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Slither. Slither is looking to sweep but instead, Esteves has passed into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Slither is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Esteves pulls his head out easily. Slither gets full guard. Slither working for submissions but it's allowed Esteves to get to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Slither is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Esteves's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Esteves's back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slither is persistently looking for the submission but Esteves is defending it well.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. You can see the frustration on Esteves's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Slither is looking for a sweep. Esteves is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Slither is looking to get back to full guard here but Esteves has managed to pass to side control instead. Esteves trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Esteves looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Slither can't escape the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bo Slither dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Slither fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Esteves sprawls well initially but Slither persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Esteves is defending against the submission attempts here by Slither.

Esteves slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Esteves had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Slither is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Esteves Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Slither's back instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slither tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Slither regains half guard. Slither tries to get to full guard but Esteves has control of the leg. Slither gets back to full guard.
Slither isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Esteves stacks Slither on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Esteves! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Slither tries to buck Esteves off but Esteves is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Esteves gets to mount! Slither was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Esteves working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Slither is desperately trying to improve his position but Esteves has a good base and remains in mount. Evaristo Esteves has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slither is controlling an arm, preventing Esteves from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Slither is trying desperately to improve position. Slither slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Slither wants to get back to full guard but Esteves has mounted him! Slither has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Slither breaks Esteves's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slither wants to pass the guard but Esteves is keeping the position. Slither is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Esteves is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Esteves has escaped and now he's on top! Slither looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Slither working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Esteves has passed into half guard!
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bo Slither. Well Slither has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
