Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maksim Veremko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Sullivan's choice of entrance music: I'm Shipping Up To Boston. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Maksim Veremko!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 1 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Adam Sullivan!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksandr Martynov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Sullivan tenderised Veremko's leg. Veremko is trying to keep his angry face on.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sullivan, as that shot connected.
Veremko tries for a takedown but Sullivan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Veremko shoots in looking for a takedown but Sullivan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Veremko's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sullivan throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Sullivan lunges at Veremko with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Veremko's hand.
Veremko steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Sullivan. That one must have hurt.
Sullivan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Veremko's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Veremko shoots for a double leg takedown but Sullivan sprawls well. He's pushed Veremko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Maksim Veremko. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Veremko shoots in for a takedown but Sullivan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Sullivan scores with a head kick.
Veremko fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sullivan scores with a kick to the body.
Veremko is breathing heavily.
Sullivan lands a big head kick that sends Veremko tumbling to the mat! Sullivan takes a step backwards and waves Veremko back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Veremko is rocked!
Sullivan connects with a leg kick. Veremko looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Oh Veremko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sullivan connects with a body shot that sends Veremko's belly button to the back.
Veremko seems to have got his legs back now.
Sullivan and Veremko are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Sullivan throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Veremko into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Sullivan knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Adam Sullivan!
