Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matts Serra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ice Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lights Out kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Matts Serra could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ice Man's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matts Serra! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
28 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ice Man! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Serra shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Man defends it nicely. Matts Serra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Man connects with a single shot there. Man misses with a few strikes there.
Serra takes a swing at Man's ribcage but misses. Man stuns Serra with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Serra displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Ice Man has been cut. Man throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Man slips under a jab. Some wild striking there from Man.
A looping hook to the body misses from Serra. Man does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Serra throws a hook to the side of Man's head but Man sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Serra throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Man slips under a jab. Man swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A looping hook to the body misses from Serra. Man does a little dance to reset his feet. Serra fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Man manages to avoid it. Man lunges at Serra with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Serra's hand. Serra misses with a body shot.
A shot to the liver by Serra. Beautiful body shot. Serra misses with a takedown attempt - Man sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Serra is looking to wear down Man with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Serra misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Man cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Man connects with a right that clearly hurt Serra. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Man proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Serra collapses and taps out under the pressure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ice Man! Ice Man is the new welterweight champion! During a confident post fight interview, Ice Man thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
