Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kakihara Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Dennis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dennis is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bark at the moon. Jorge Dennis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Kakihara Wallace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jorge Dennis! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dennis checks the leg kick. Dennis on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Wallace. Wallace obviously looking to wear him down.
Dennis looks to land a combination but Wallace avoids it well. Wallace gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Dennis stands and throws Wallace's legs to the side, diving into side control. Dennis slows the pace down. You can see the frustration on Wallace's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Wallace regains half guard there - taking advantage of Dennis's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Dennis is trying to control the action in half guard but Wallace is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dennis is figuring out what he wants to do next. Dennis thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Wallace's head. Dennis moves into full mount! Wallace won't be happy about that! Wallace working to try and regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dennis takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Wallace wants to control but Dennis is having none of it. Dennis sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Dennis jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Wallace is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Wallace and Dennis has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Dennis controls the position from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wallace is looking for a sweep. Dennis works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. The referee asks Dennis politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Dennis prefers to stall for the moment though. Wallace is not content to let Dennis control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dennis grinds an elbow into Wallace's temple. Dennis is putting a hurting on Wallace here, landing some big shots from side control. Dennis trying to control the position but Wallace is working away. Wallace is looking to reverse the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dennis moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Dennis throwing shots but missing, from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jorge Dennis dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Wallace throws a predictable looking body shot
and Dennis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Dennis misses with a body shot.
A jab from Wallace misses. Dennis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wallace throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jorge Dennis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dennis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Dennis swinging wildly here.
A combination from Dennis does no damage. A low kick from Wallace is predictable there and Dennis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Dennis shoots in and bounces Wallace off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Jorge Dennis has got the better of the ground game so far. Wallace is trying to control the position but Dennis postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dennis tries to free his leg and advance position but Wallace is retaining full guard. Wallace looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Wallace keeping moving, preventing Dennis from controlling successfully. Dennis looking to pass the guard. Dennis trying to control the position from guard on top but Wallace is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wallace rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dennis counters with a takedown into side control. Dennis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wallace keeps working. Wallace parries the strikes from Dennis easily there. Dennis is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Wallace to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dennis moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Dennis working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Dennis has an Americana. Wallace didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Dennis is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Dennis hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Jorge Dennis! Jorge Dennis decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
