Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Arti Tworzewski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herman Scheffer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Arti Tworzewski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Herman Scheffer! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scheffer closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Tworzewski quickly recovers to half guard. Scheffer missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Scheffer is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Scheffer tries to stand but can't do so whilst Tworzewski controls his leg. Scheffer trying to control the action but Tworzewski is working from the bottom. Scheffer wants to pass the guard but Tworzewski is defending well. Scheffer is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tworzewski is just riding it out for now. Scheffer eventually gives up the hold.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like Scheffer is going to stand back up.
Tworzewski is not content to let Scheffer control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Herman Scheffer hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Scheffer swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Tworzewski counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Scheffer is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Scheffer wants to stand and escape but Tworzewski is having none of it.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Herman Scheffer was stalling too much, according to the referee. Scheffer manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Tworzewski on his heels. He'll look to pass Tworzewski's guard now, I'm sure. Scheffer wants to get up but he can't break Tworzewski's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scheffer looks winded! Tworzewski looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Scheffer trying to control the position from guard on top but Tworzewski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Herman Scheffer. Scheffer fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Tworzewski checks it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scheffer drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tworzewski really is a fat lump. Scheffer throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Scheffer trying to control the position but Tworzewski is working away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tworzewski is looking to reverse the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Herman Scheffer dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Tworzewski tries to score a power double leg takedown but Scheffer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tworzewski somewhat. Scheffer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Scheffer is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Scheffer is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Tworzewski can't fight it off and eventually Scheffer manages to take the fight to the floor. Tworzewski looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Scheffer wants to stand but Tworzewski has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scheffer looking to pass the guard. Scheffer missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Scheffer thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Scheffer trying to control the position from guard on top but Tworzewski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Scheffer chips away with some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scheffer throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Scheffer is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Tworzewski tries to land a sweep but no joy. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Scheffer pushes down on Tworzewski's leg and manages to get into half guard. Scheffer trying to mount his opponent but Tworzewski defends it. Scheffer wants to stand up but Tworzewski manages to regain full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tworzewski tries to land a sweep but no joy. Scheffer wants to control from the top but Tworzewski keeps moving. Tworzewski has a closed guard, preventing Scheffer from standing up. Scheffer trying to control but Tworzewski is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Herman Scheffer. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tworzewski is defended easily by Scheffer. Scheffer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tworzewski looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Scheffer is working to tighten is grip on Tworzewski's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Tworzewski has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Scheffer is really squeezing tight and eventually Tworzewski passes out! Scheffer breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Herman Scheffer! A relieved looking Herman Scheffer thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
