Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Baramari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Coalman Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baramari comes to the cage accompanied by WOODKID - Iron. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Baramari!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Coalman Gracie!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Baramari as he jumps to the side.

Gracie dives in and scores a takedown into Baramari's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Gracie loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Gracie wants to pass the guard but Baramari is keeping the position.
Gracie sitting in guard here, content to control.
Baramari bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gracie's guard.
Gracie pulls Baramari in close to prevent any damage.
Baramari stays in close to Gracie's body and controls the position.
Baramari missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Baramari wants to stand but Gracie has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Baramari trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Gracie throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.
Gracie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Baramari trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Bob Baramari has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Gracie tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Baramari manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Baramari looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Baramari gets tackled into the cage by Gracie. Gracie maintains the clinch.
Baramari gets underhooks to prevent Gracie's takedown attempt.
Baramari gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Gracie.
Bob Baramari has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Coalman Gracie.
Baramari misses with a hook to the ribs.

Baramari lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Baramari tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Gracie pulls guard effortlessly.
Baramari lands a couple of digs.

Baramari stands up from Gracie's guard - Baramari perhaps looking for a knockout.
Baramari stuffs the takedown.
Baramari keeps the fight on the outside.
Baramari throws a leg kick but Gracie sees it coming and moves out of range.
Baramari throws a head kick that misses.
Gracie blocks a head kick by Baramari.
A left and a right from Baramari both land. Nice combination.


It looks like Coalman Gracie has been cut.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gracie on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Baramari. Baramari obviously looking to wear him down.
Baramari looks to land a body kick but Gracie moved away.
Gracie takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Gracie takes the fight into the clinch.
Gracie keeps control of Baramari as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Baramari has had enough of the clinch but Gracie keeps him there for the moment.
Gracie blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Gracie is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Gracie has Baramari pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Baramari manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Baramari is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Baramari misses with a punch on the inside.
Baramari is trying to force a seperation but Gracie has the dominant position.

Baramari manages to break the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Gracie shoots in but no luck this time.
Baramari scores with a kick to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Baramari will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Baramari connects with a leg kick. Gracie looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Gracie throws a shot from downtown. Baramari moves away and avoids it.
Baramari chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Bob Baramari is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gracie looks winded!
Baramari throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Baramari lands a leg kick that knocks Gracie off balance momentarily.
Baramari connects with an inside leg kick.
Baramari lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Baramari drops Gracie with a beautiful combination! Gracie stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Baramari is looking for the KO!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nice body punch from Baramari.
Baramari throws a sloppy head kick and Gracie moves out of range easily.
Baramari throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Good leg kick by Baramari there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bob Baramari dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Coalman Gracie's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Baramari lands a jab to the nose.


That has opened up Coalman Gracie's cut even more.
Baramari connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Bob Baramari seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Baramari darts in and clinches Gracie up against the cage.
Gracie is trying to pull guard but Baramari has him pressed against the cage.

Baramari breaks the clinch.

Oooooh!!! Baramari has knocked Gracie down with a huge combo! Baramari steps away and waves a wobbly Gracie back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Gracie is rocked!
Bob Baramari is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Baramari will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gracie is still on wobbly legs! Can Baramari finish him?
Gracie's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Baramari fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gracie has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Baramari lands with a thumping leg kick.
Gracie seems to have recovered his senses.
Nice body kick from Baramari.
Baramari feints and then cracks Gracie's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gracie down.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Baramari, right into the meat.
Both fighters circling a little - Baramari finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Gracie on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Gracie on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Baramari. Baramari obviously looking to wear him down.
Gracie sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Baramari throws a nice outside leg kick.
Baramari misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Baramari is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gracie can do to turn this around?
An inside leg kick lands from Baramari.
Baramari keeps Gracie at a distance using the push kick.
Baramari scores with a kick to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The cut above Coalman Gracie's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Coalman Gracie's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Coalman Gracie's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Bob Baramari!
Bob Baramari gave a mention to Just Fight (Shirt 6$ Shorts 8$) in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
