The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gardiner Wright Blackwood tries to close the distance and clinch but Brown swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Brown ducks under a wild hook from Gardiner Wright Blackwood.
Gardiner Wright Blackwood misses with a few strikes there.
Brown avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Gardiner Wright Blackwood keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

and Brown counters with a nice uppercut.
Brown ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gardiner Wright Blackwood moves away.
Brown bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Oooh a lovely combination from Gardiner Wright Blackwood sends Brown down but not out. Gardiner Wright Blackwood dives into side control looking to finish.
Brown is rocked!
It looks like Craig Brown has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gardiner Wright Blackwood thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Oh Brown is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gardiner Wright Blackwood is working to tighten is grip on Brown's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Brown has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Gardiner Wright Blackwood is really squeezing tight and eventually Brown passes out! Gardiner Wright Blackwood breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
