Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Darnell Klutie!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tank S!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klutie scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Klutie shoots in looking for a takedown. S tries to sprawl out of it but Klutie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. S manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Klutie pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Klutie fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. S sprawls well initially but Klutie persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
S slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Klutie slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
S is looking to sweep but instead, Klutie has passed into half guard.
Klutie perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
S is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

S is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Klutie pulls his head out easily.

Klutie is looking for a kimura but S is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Klutie to get the leverage.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Klutie takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Klutie decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Klutie shoots in and bounces S off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
S looks gassed!
Klutie passes S's left leg - he's now in half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Klutie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
S wants to get back to his feet.
Klutie controlling the pace.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
S trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Klutie controlling his opponent.

Klutie is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

S gets caught flat footed, as Klutie shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

S escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Klutie gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
S throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Klutie won't allow S to sweep him here.

S looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Klutie looking to pass the guard.
Klutie really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

S looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
S keeping moving, preventing Klutie from controlling successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Darnell Klutie dominated that round.
That's time! Klutie's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Klutie throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Klutie clinches.
S jumps guard but Klutie stands there with S around his waist. S gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Klutie scores a nice knee to the body.
Klutie lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Klutie pulls guard effortlessly.
S should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
S lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Klutie manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
S tries to lock up and control but Klutie gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Klutie stands up from mount. Strange move.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A chopping leg kick lands by Klutie.
S is breathing heavily.
Klutie shoots in but S avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Klutie throws a head kick that S semi-blocks.


S is rocked!
Klutie displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
S is still on wobbly legs! Can Klutie finish him?
Klutie seems to be stalking S here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! S drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Darnell Klutie!
Darnell Klutie retains his bantamweight title!
